The MAXIMUS® Euphonium/Bass Trombone by IYM Corp. is an innovative and distinctive mouthpiece. It has a rim designed for playing comfort and stability and success solves the intonation issues that exists in these instruments.

The heavy mass design channels the player's energy efficiently into the horn while reducing fatigue and bruising. Note placement is clear, accurate and with centered pitch. The combination of design elements produces a full, rounded orchestral tone while delivering the full range of the instrument with clarity not available elsewhere. The full ra®nge of the horn is now opened up while improving intonation to add dramatically to the brass choir.

IYM's MAXIMUS® mouthpieces receive 2 to 4 times more silver plating than other manufacturers' products. This results in a better grip and a longer lasting finish that does not require frequent, costly and inconvenient re-plating. Each mouthpiece is manufactured with the latest high-tech equipment to assure quality control.
