The innovative MAXIMUSÃ'Ã'® tenor trombone mouthpiece by IYM Corp. has a medium-deep cup to produce a full orchestral sound. The rim is designed for playing comfort and stability. The heavy mass design channels the player's energy effortlessly to produce a full resonant sound. Note placement is accurate with centered pitch. The design elements work together to produce a range and pure tone not available elsewhere. The presence of the instrument is now opened up to add dramatically to the brass choir.
Each mouthpiece is manufactured with the latest high-tech equipment to assure quality control.
IYM's MAXIMUSÃ'Ã'® mouthpieces are plated with 2 to 4 times more silver than most other mouthpieces. This means a higher quality product, better grip in the horn and on the mouth and a surface which will last considerably longer. When thin plating wears off, it exposes the player to the base metal which is not recommended as a playing surface. Better plating will provide a smoother surface for much longer, greatly reducing plating costs and the inconvenience of being without your mouthpiece for any length of time.
